MAC and Hello Kitty have released their limited edition collection.

The theme seems to be a lot of pinks and grays which I LOVE. I am particularly excited about the Eyeshadow x 4 Too Dolly set:

It looks like a great line for spring and the monochrome Hello Kitty takes me back to my goth kid days.

Tried It: Aura Rosemary Mint Rejuvenating Shampoo & Conditioner

I got this as a gift because of my love for Avedas Rosemary and Mint Shampoo and Conditioner. I've been using it for awhile now and figured I should spread the wealth with you!

Pros: Hair definitely feels better, nice scent
Cons: Need the set to get the full bouquet of scents. Doesn't last.

The shampoo has a lighter rosemary smell than its counterpart, the conditioner. The conditioner is definitely heavy on the mint, so much so that my scalp will tingle when I apply it (good thing or bad thing?). It has helped my hair gain some of its health back (I have to wear it up a lot for my job), and it hasn't accelerated the fading of my red hair so that's always a plus. However, the scent doesn't last as long as I would like to see. Still, it's a good knock-off and I would recommend it.

Hello Amy from Phoenix, AZ

What won't you go outside without?
Sunscreen...I do live in the desert!

What's your favorite beauty brand?
Besides my own I love Philosophy products.

How long is your beauty routine?
It takes me about an hour to get ready in the morning and 10 minutes at night.

What’s your palette (bold, neutrals, glitters, etc)?
I love neutrals...Bobbi Brown does a very good job with naturally beautiful neutral makeup shades.

When did you start wearing makeup?
If you count lipsmackers then I started wearing makeup when I was 6!

Do you look back at any style you had and cringe? Which one?
I think that Jr. High was awkward for just about everyone. I had the high ponytail, curled bangs sprayed high with Aqua Net, the tight rolled jeans, and t-shirts with t-shirt slides :) I think that people naturally get more stylish as they go through life.

5 products I'd recommend:
Philosophy Sheer Splendor Shampoo and Conditioner,
Peter Thomas Roth Uber Dry Sunscreen SPF 30
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer SPF15
Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in Medium
Pink Bow Bath Boutique's Moisturizing Body Whip in Strawberry Velvet Cake.

Kendra from Berkley, CA

What won't you go outside without?
Moisturizer with SPF, a little mineral makeup to even out skin tone, & a quick sweep of mascara.

What's your favorite beauty brand?
I love Eminence Organics. They are an organic, live (non heated) skin care line from Hungary. They are a bit pricey so I only treat myself to one of their products once or twice a year.

How long is your beauty routine?
Start to finish only about 15 minuets. This even includes my hair. When I step out of the shower I moisturize my face, apply a light layer of mineral makeup foundation, sweep on some mascara, and let my hair air dry. I have learned to accept & love my curly hair. I no longer fight it so now I just let it style itself. I just wash & air dry, no brushes no unnecessary products.

What's your palette (bold, neutrals, glitters, etc)?

Neutrals all the way. Even when I'm getting ready for a night out the only change I make is to add a little black/brown eyeliner.

When did you start wearing makeup?

Being the youngest of 3 girls I was a bit of an early bloomer. I started experimenting with makeup at the age of 10. My early years contained a LOT of thick black eyeliner.

Do you look back at any style you had and cringe? Which one?
The aforementioned eyeliner. In Jr. High I had the thickest cat eyes in town. I'm glad to be rid of it and happy with my natural beauty.

Recommend 5 products for our readers

*Eminence Stone Crop Gel Wash - gentile yet effective. Smells amazing & helps even out skin tone.
*Ginger Peach Lip Balm by BathLife
*Dr Bronners Rose Liquid Soap - Great general use soap for head to toe use (can even be used to wash clothes/counters/anything) should be diluted!
*Rosary Soap by SmellsandBells
*Homemade tooth paste made using baking soda & salt. I haven't found anything that cleans better and leaves my teeth whiter.

Hello Erin from Boston, MA!

What won't you go outside without?
Mascara and Burt's Bees beeswax lip balm (I'm completely addicted to that menthol tingle!)

What's your favorite beauty brand?
I'd say either Benefit (they're so sassy!) and Bare Escentuals

How long is your beauty routine?
Between 30 minutes and 45 minutes.

What's your palette (bold, neutrals, glitters, etc)?

It really depends on the occassion. I stick to neutrals 90% of the time, but I love bolder looks for nights out

When did you start wearing makeup?
Probably when I was 16. I was pretty unfashionable leading up to that age and never thought much of appearance.

Do you look back at any style you had and cringe? Which one?

Oh god, I think it's my fifth grade class picture, I'm wearing a bright yellow turtleneck, green and yellow sunflower vest, and my hair was half up in a high ponytail with this wretched faux-flower clip thing. Really, why was I allowed to leave the house like that? And I (then) LOVED that outfit. It was my standby!

Recommend 5 products for our readers:
Bourjois lip gloss
Burt's Bees beeswax lip balm
Benefit's Badgal lash mascara
Ecru New York's Sea Clean Shampoo (once a week only)
Bare Escentual's make up brushes

Don't forget to check her out!:
petal & pink is what happens when I start collecting more beads than I do shoes (and that's hard!) I realized one day that I had more jewelry than I could wear. I finally gave in to what my family and friends had been telling me and decided to start selling. It started off small, a Holiday fair at work, from there it branched into custom orders from a few girls getting married, and then a few more. Lacking a portfolio, I moved to Etsy, figuring "if anything, it's a place to show my work when I get emails asking for examples..." Slowly, but surely, I'm working on creating petal & pink beyond it's current appearance and into a full fledge functional online boutique.
